Starhotels participates in Homo Faber 2026 with a special exhibition dedicated to the fourth edition of the La Grande Bellezza Award, the biennial initiative celebrating excellence in Italian craftsmanship. The award is part of the wider contemporary patronage project La Grande Bellezza – The Dream Factory, promoted by the Group to preserve and showcase Italy’s heritage of talent and savoir-faire, in collaboration with Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte and Gruppo Editoriale.
Entitled Il Bello dell’Utile, this edition explores the encounter between aesthetics and functionality through creations inspired by Italy’s extraordinary cultural and natural wealth. The winning work, together with the other finalist works, will be on display from 1 September to 16 October at Hotel Gabrielli Venezia – Starhotels Collezione.
The exhibition is also part of the programme of The Venice Glass Week, taking place in Venice from 12 to 20 September. The award-winning works will thus enter into dialogue with the Hotel Gabrielli’s extraordinary collection of artistic glass: more than 700 recently restored chandeliers and wall lights, including precious pieces crafted by the historic Seguso glassworks.
At the 31st edition of Artigianato e Palazzo, Starhotels presents in the Limonaia Grandi Maestri a refined series of porcelain hearts by Elica Studio, taken from the collection “In Alto i Cuori.”
