Edition 2021- 2022

The deadline for submitting nominations for the second edition of the La Grande Bellezza Award expired on 31st March 2022.

164 requests from craftsmen, designers and creative minds from all over Italy responded to our call for pieces on the theme of "The Beauty of Nature".

Among them are the frontrunners of savoir-faire, exponents of historic workshops in Italy, but also those of a younger generation who have presented their creations. In many cases all following the fil rouge of sustainability and imagining furnishings and details of high craftsmanship to be placed in prestigious settings in the world of hospitality.

All the artworks presented express the chosen theme in a very personal and original way and represent an extraordinary map of Italian savoir-faire, the authentic character of Made in Italy and in this context promoted together with the partners Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d'Arte, OMA and Gruppo Editoriale.

The first prizewinner will receive a cash sum of ten thousand euros and the finalists will be involved in a series of promotional and communication initiatives to support our great national heritage of know-how and design culture.
