PAOLA PARONETTO WITH ROSA GRAND MILANO – STARHOTELS COLLEZIONE PRESENTS “SOFFIO. UN RESPIRO LEGGERO”.
THE EXHIBITION CELEBRATING THE GREAT BEAUTY OF ITALIAN CRAFTSMANSHIP.
On the occasion of the National Made in Italy Day and the opening of the 64th edition of the Salone del Mobile 2026, the spaces of Rosa Grand Milano, the hotel with the most incredible view of the Madonnina and part of the Italian group Starhotels Collezione, host the exhibition “Soffio. Un Respiro Leggero” by Paola Paronetto, an internationally renowned artist whose collections have been showcased in prestigious showrooms, galleries, and museums in Italy and abroad.
Known for her lightweight yet durable sculptural ceramics inspired by the natural world and crafted in Paper Clay, Paola Paronetto presents the work “Soffio”, a sphere suspended on a slender stem, evoking the shape of a dandelion just before it drifts into the air.
The main piece is accompanied by the creations Bulbo, which explores the harmony of essential forms in a soft and welcoming volume, and Trofeo, which celebrates the encounter between geometries and golden reflections.
Completing the composition are the Fide vases, small ideal architectures, solid and silent, presented in pastel tones inspired by spring.
The exhibition “Soffio” by Paola Paronetto with the Rosa Grand Milano hotel, open to visitors until May 15 in the Library space of the Grand Lounge & Bar, is part of the contemporary patronage project “La Grande Bellezza – The Dream Factory”, conceived by Starhotels with the support of Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte and Gruppo Editoriale, aimed at enhancing the great Italian heritage of talent and savoir-faire.
"We are proud to take part with La Grande Bellezza – The Dream Factory in these important events, contributing to the enhancement of Italian craftsmanship,” comments Elisabetta Fabri, President and CEO of Starhotels and creator of the project. “Supporting our artisans means truly understanding our identity while looking toward the future of our country.”
“‘Soffio’ was created with the beauty that inhabits this place in mind: a tangible and solid beauty that, at the same time, suggests suspension and a light, almost ethereal balance. A presence that engages with the space with discretion. The wind is always in its favor, gently caressing the object with an ethereal play of light and shadow. In this way, it remains in perpetual balance, between lightness and presence. Like the stillness of a moment before flight. Like a sigh of relief,” states Paola Paronetto.
